Canadian Stage Company Call for General Auditions

Artistic and General Director Matthew Jocelyn and Associate Director of Programming Natasha Mytnowych have announced a call for General Auditions to be held in early December.

Please submit a hard copy resume/photo by 5 p.m. Friday, November 27th, 2009.

Please note on resume ACTRA and Equity status, and training. We encourage submissions from artists of diverse cultures. Artists currently enrolled full time in a post secondary conservatory training program will be seen at Ontario Showcase and therefore will not be given a separate General Audition at this time.

Based on the Biblical tales of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and Noah and the Ark, Children of Eden is
an exploration of how the transition from child to adult can affects all families. With a score by famed
composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell), Children of Eden uses mythic scope to tell the
most human of all stories: how do parents balance love and care for their children with the need to allow
them to make their own mistakes?
