Ruckus Magazine Seeks Director

Ruckus is looking for a bright, new face in the theatre world to direct its up-coming theatre production, Shakespeare in the Parkinglot: Twelfth Night. The show will take place 04/23/2009-04/26/2009. The AMY Project is Artists Mentoring Youth, an educational arts project that nurtures the confidence and unique identity of underserved teenage girls through developing their cultural vocabulary and skills of healthy, creative self-expression. The AMY Project teaches tangible life skills, increases socialization and builds a sense of community.

The AMY Project is a free program offered to a diverse range of participants from the greater Toronto area. The participants are provided with TTC tickets, given the opportunity to attend live theatrical performances, share in a free weekly meal and earn volunteer hours and cash honorariums for performing.
