The Concerned Kids is looking for volunteers who can commit to one half-day shift every week (or twice a month) to present interactive puppet programs to children ages 6-12.
Puppeteer training will begin in mid-August.Educate young people about:
Multiculturalism
Violence, Gangs, and Prejudice
Bullies and School Safety
Substance Abuse and Peer Pressure
We are looking for people who are energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about educating youth on social issues. Must have great communication skills and memorization skills.
Puppetry experience is not necessary but theatre or performance experience is an asset.Please submit a statement of interest and experience, as well as a resume to info@theconcernedkids.com.
