Supernova is Seeking a Booking Agent Intern (BILINGUAL: ENGLISH AND FRENCH)
Supernova is seeking a part time agent intern for Toronto to handle daily band relations and customer service.
We are a music company located in Toronto and have a 16 year track record in Canada. Annually we hold more than 250 gigs across Canada, cementing relationships with some major industry players along the way. Bands, agencies, record labels have been flocking to us as a way to access new talent, a young demographic, and a mushrooming web network.
Locally we are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who will undertake the role of the Agent Intern.This entails:
- Band Relations
- Finding new bands
- Dealing with bands who are involved in the program
- Customer service calls
This position will initially be a part-time internship leading to a paid position. Regular meetings with supervisor will be required to ensure a quality experience.
The applicant must:
- Be Bilingual (English & French)
- Be enthusiastic
- Be able to multi-task
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Be comfortable with calling bands
- Be a quick learner
- Be able to adapt to new situations
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Good working knowledge with the internet and Microsoft Office Suite
- Have knowledge of local music scene
- Be able to network with bands, venues, etc.
Compensation: Brief part-time internship leading to a paid position
